SnowBrains is a snow sports news outlet that is digital only, with all of their media being on their social media and websites. For the 2025-2026 ski season, I was lucky to come on board and join them as a Social Media Marketing Specialist to help uplift their socials during this busy season. I worked on various different projects during my contract, which you can find some examples of my work below.

Question of the Day Copywriting

My favorite assignment I got to do while with SnowBrains was being the copywriter for their "Question of the Day" on Facebook. In May (2026), when the ski season ends and things slow down in North America, was the second most successful month for the questions with over 1.4 million impressions and just under 150,000 engagements. The questions I ask are never too crazy or out of the ordinary (as I would like to keep my job!) and are always related to skiing, but they never fail to make me laugh or to create meaningful connections between skiers.

Instagram Stories Promoting Website Articles

A huge part of SnowBrains is driving users from social media to the website since SnowBrains is a fully digital outlet. One way to do this was creating Instagram stories that link the user to the website where they can read more.

Represented SnowBrains at Ski Cross World Cup

I was lucky enough that in March 2026, I attended the Ski Cross World Cup as the media representative for SnowBrains. This was the first experience I had being apart of a media outlet at a live sporting event. I took various photos and videos, which were uploaded to the SnowBrains Instagram, talk to the athletes, and meet other people working in the media industry.
